The producer that discovered Sean Paul sits down with Red Bull Music Academy and gives great insight to the music industry for dancehall artist and producers.
Yesterday I was looking up reggae and dancehall producers on the net trying to find out what type of equipment they use when producing riddims. I came across a great interview/lecture given by Jeremy Harding a producer of some of dancehall's hottest riddims. Its a long video but it is definitely worth the watch as he explains many things from his beginnings with dancehall music, the way the music industry works in Jamaica, and even how homophobic stereotypes have been played into by reggae artist. I learned a lot and i'm sure you will enjoy this courtesy of www.redbullmusicacademy.com
